Since 1958, Farnsworth has been the go-to name for real estate services in the East Valley. After working with a Big 3 bank, the Farnsworth team felt the pull to bring their banking relationship local to align with their values and get better service. Since switching to our Arizona community bank, Farnsworth has been enjoying exponentially faster response, working with a partner who cares, and reinvesting in the community they call home.
Banking locally makes your life easier and your community better. To learn more and start the process of partnering with Gateway Bank, contact us today.

Farnsworth Team:
Gateway Bank has a culture of volunteerism and in the community, and that’s one of the things that drew us to them. The big bank we were with we weren’t getting any response or love. We bounced over to Gateway and never looked back.
With one of the big 3 banks, it can take two weeks to open a single bank account. I probably had 20 bank accounts within about three days. It’s much, much easier at Gateway!
Obviously there’s a lot to do right here in the community, and we feel like we can make a difference right here. At Farnsworth, we really specialize in the East Valley, and we can help you buy and sell homes, manage properties all throughout the Valley.
Our specialty is really the East Valley, so there’s just a lot of good that we can do right here in these Farnsworth neighborhoods. We feel like we can make an impact, and that’s one of the reasons why we love Gateway Bank.
They’re right in the heart of our market area, and they are very community-minded. Lauren [from Gateway Bank] is on a million different boards. James Christensen [from Gateway Bank] is at everything. They have a culture of volunteerism and doing things in the community at Gateway Bank. And that’s one of the things that drew us to the bank.
The big bank that we were with, we just were not getting responses. We weren’t getting any any love. But we knew the people at Gateway, and we bounced over there and never looked back.
It’s been an awesome relationship. I will say there’s that common ideal that as a small, family business we can personalize our services to people. And when we went to Gateway, they were able to do the same thing. They personalized things.
We would ask other banks, “Can you do this for us?” And they wouldn’t even think about it. We came to Gateway. Scott [from Gateway Bank] would send over all different types of scenarios, and we would choose one because he personalized it to our business. It helped us out a lot.
We were with one of the Big 3 banks, and we made the decision to move to Gateway. Mr. Farnsworth had had a working relationship and was a stock owner in the bank. So we made the decision to move to Gateway, and it was so much easier. With the Big 3s, it can take you up to two weeks to open a simple bank account. I probably had 20 bank accounts open in about three days. Much, much easier!
We try to do things that way, like our grandfather would do, like our dads did with the Farnsworth companies, and like we’re doing it today. Earning people’s trust is part of our mission statement, so that’s huge for us. We want to earn your trust. If we have that, we can do business with you, and you can do business with us. That’s all that matters.
